The pictures below highlight us on the go with our Sisterlocks. As a Girl Scout Troop Leader, I took a few of my girls to an encampment event. I threw on a hat and we (me and my locks) were good to go! Also captured below is Jameila being honored as "Student of the Month" and me visiting her class for a Mother's Day celebration. Just wanted to say that both girls locks are absolutely beautiful. I came across your blog when looking for sisterlocks for my youngest. I have sl's and my eldest daughter was 11 when she had hers installed. Now my youngest, age 4 keeps saying she wants hair like mummy and her big sisterj her reasoning being we don't have to comb our hair anymore and hurt, and she wants to shake it like us! You are so right, our hang ups are not our kids and your daughters are beautiful and I pray they will always see their natural beauty.
